What happens after you contact us
The details vary by shipment, but these are the main stages from enquiry to delivery.
How we work
Every step managed, documented and communicated.
You deal with one MCL account manager from first call to final handover.
- 01
Tell us what you need to move
Send a description of the goods, their location and the delivery address. Weight, dimensions and a supplier invoice help us assess the shipping options.
- 02
Review the quote
Review the freight, handling and clearance costs with our team. Check what is included, which amounts are estimates and the payment terms before agreeing to proceed.
- 03
Book freight and prepare documents
Our team books freight space with our partner carriers, arranges origin-side documentation (Bill of Lading, export certificates, inspection reports), and coordinates with suppliers or auction houses on your behalf.
- 04
Follow the shipment
Once the cargo is dispatched, use your shipment reference to check its status. Arrival dates can change; contact the team if you need an update or have a delivery deadline.
- 05
Clear customs
Clearance arrangements depend on the route. Our team reviews the import documents, coordinates duty payments and inspections, and arranges release for the next leg of the journey.
- 06
Collect or receive your goods
Cleared cargo is loaded onto our GPS-tracked fleet for delivery to your address — your home, office, warehouse, or site anywhere in Uganda. We confirm delivery with a handover note and photo documentation.
